Have you looked up at the stars,
to make a wish or dream?
Well I've always been a gazer too,
I'm sure to know what you mean.
One night you wish a wish upon a star,
To be rewarded a favor or two,
Only to find that shooting thought
Has been used before you.
You've got to find a new one,
Surely it must exist.
But traveling across the land,
Proves useless to every bit.
Years go by without a clue
But patience will prevail,
A trusted friends has just came back,
Urgent to tell her tail.
She saw a shooting star go by
Just a few nights ago,
A quest, a quest she sets with you
To find the star a flow.
The two of you set out one night
With the hopes in every lace,
Throughout the journey you start to see,
The beauty in her face.
She helps you through the puzzled tasks,
She knows every line and riddle,
But the further away you get from home,
You realize your heart is brittle
The task was pointless cause all along
Your shooting star draws nearer.
On a whim you look around
And discover it to be her.
